How do I price a job off my own rates?

Price the job using your own rate table. Then send a quote document with the drawing, slab layout and costed line items.

Do I need CAD to draw the countertop?

Draw the job from your own site measurements in the browser. You do not need a CAD licence or a separate drafting step. Dimensions redraw in inches or millimetres, whichever your shop uses.

Will the vein line up across the seam?

Lay the pieces out on the slab and place the seams yourself, so the vein carries on across the join before anything is cut.

Does my DXF work with it, both ways?

Import the CAD DXF and iCounterSoft finds the pieces, cut-outs and seams, then draws them for you. Export the finished drawing as cut pieces or a nested sheet, so the file goes on to whatever your shop already cuts from. You never measure the same job twice or retype it between programs.

Who is templating on Tuesday?

Templating, fabrication, and installation sit on one board, so you can see the week before you promise a date. Add your own activities for the work your shop does, each with its own length and crew size. Save a booking and the board tells you about a clash, a tight travel gap, or booked leave.

Does the invoice get typed twice?

The invoice you raised against the quote goes through to your accounts from the same record. Connects to QuickBooks Online and Xero.

A countertop takeoff works out how much material, edge and cut-out work the job needs before you price it. iCounterSoft reads those quantities from the drawing.

From the plan: On Pro, import the CAD DXF. iCounterSoft finds the pieces, cut-outs, splashes and seams, shows them for review, then draws them.
From the site: On any plan, draw the run, return and island from your own measurements in millimetres or inches.
Quantities off the drawing: Area, linear metres, cut-outs and edge runs come from the shapes. Change a length and its price line changes too, without recalculating it in a spreadsheet.
